I would love to say "amen". I find it so difficult to talk about Christ, even to believers. I express my faith and love to Him only in the internet, and I think it's not how it should be. :c I'll wait for Him to change me and trust that He will. Awesome piece. c:

But belief is one's personal foundation of truth, is it not? If it can be forgotten or lost sight of, it is not truly a part of the core of one's world view. It is difficult to shake the notion that the denial of shame here, especially followed as it is by a strong assertion of faith and the invocation of the peer group at large, may actually be symptomatic of cracks in the faith so loudly trumpeted, either within the speaker himself or closely perceived by the speaker in his own environment.
Of course, the love of God for His creation is unconditional, as is the "power of God to salvation"; if there is a question of faith here, it is probably to do with perfect virtue, would have been a precondition to the perception of truth and thus the formation and acceptance of a belief system.
